Even though they play a crucial role in delivery health care, their contribution went unnoticed in terms of setting up a separate council-governingbody, specified guidelines/regulations to maintain a uniform high quality standard of training &education of alternative all over the nation and register qualified personnel for the free practice of the profession in a developing country as India, the rural section is still left unattended in terms of quality health care system, due to the acute shortage of skilled health care personnel. This dearth of alternative practitioner has to be compensated with increased world class training and education in alternative science to the youth for catering a quality health care services to this needy section of the society. . .
